Delete your jbench account
You can delete your jbench account in the app, or start a deletion request from this page if you cannot access the app. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner before deleting account data.
Delete in the app
- Open jbench and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then Settings.
- Open Delete account.
- Confirm with your password.
Request deletion by email
Send a deletion request from the email address on your jbench account. Include the subject jbench account deletion request and the account email address.

Account deletion is designed to remove your account, profile, captures, collection records, friendships, notification installations, and associated uploaded photos. Photo deletion and notification cleanup may be queued and processed asynchronously.
Some records may be retained or de-identified where needed for legal, security, backup, moderation, dispute, open-data, shared-content, or operational reasons. For example, a shared bench record may remain without your account identity if other users have interacted with it or if it is needed to preserve public or OpenStreetMap-derived bench data.
